This is a superb example of a "Transitional" rug as the pattern is a classic shoulder blanket banded design, but the oversized proportions and heavy weight make it obvious that it was intended as a rug ... or over oversized bed blanket. A minor stain near one end... otherwise in excellent condition. A rare item to find.
